His death leaves us jubilant. He died a natural death, he had it coming.
We remember him for the unsavoury situation that we are now in. May he rot in hell!

He will rot in hell, Tšoanyane. I think that at least of that we are assured, if of nothing else. I can’t wait to see what will happen on 17 February. It will either be a fizzle election: a pop and a fizzle, and nothing, or it will be a nation changing bang election.
This guy’s dead, may he stay dead.

Years ago, on the occasion of Richard Nixon’s funeral, I wrote the following. I offer it for whatever comfort it provides.
When washing and burying
the body of an enemy
see the opportunity for peace.
Especially so when it is washed
with tears shed for others
and buried in the dust
that holds those we loved.
